How to Clean Baby's Nose Properly

Babies cannot blow their own nose, so a little help goes a long way during cold season.

Start by laying your baby on their back. Apply two to three drops of saline solution to one nostril and wait a few seconds for it to loosen mucus.

Use a soft-tipped nasal aspirator, gently insert it just inside the nostril, and squeeze slowly. Repeat on the other side.

Clean the aspirator after every use with warm soapy water.
